The 140 meters-long pedestrian suspension bridge that connects the south part of Kinugawa Onsen street and Tateiwa.
‘Tateiwa’ is named after a shield (Tate) used in a battlefield. Tateiwa is over 70m high.
From about 40 meters-high bridge, the torrent of Kinugawa among the great stones and lush mountains can be observed.
An observation deck is located at the peak of Tateiwa. Enjoy beautiful scenery of mountains, Kinugawa, onsen street andl Takahara mountain system including Keicho Mountain.

22 million years ago, a submarine volcanic activity spewed volcanic rocks. Kinugawa eroded rocks that has become the present landscape.
Scenery exactly looks like dragons moving. It has a complete length of approximately 3 km between Kawaji Onsen and Kinugawa Onsen.
The valley was named ‘Ryuo Kyu’ in 1950. It is famous picturesque scenery in Kinugawa and Kawaji. Many visitors come to see colored leaves from in the end of October to the beginning of November.
The 7km-long promenade is available from Kawaji Onsen. You can enjoy a 3-4 hours relaxing hike.

A boatman maneuvers his oar, going down a river and you would see fantastically‐shaped rocks including Tateiwa, Tsumikiiwa, Zouiwa, Gorillaiwa, etc.
You would enjoy wild cherry trees and azaleas in spring, the sound of kingfishers and sweetfish in summer and red leaves in autumn. Explore seasonal views of Kinugawa on a boat.

‘Protect world heritages and architectures’ – This cultural theme park exhibits beautiful miniature scale architectures such as a sphinx, the Great Wall of China, the Parthenon, the Church of the Sagrada and the White House on a scale of 1 to 25.
More than 100 miniatures are displayed.
The figures of people are also on a scale of 1 to 25. Architectures look like real from the height of the eyes of figures.
Carvings, reliefs,stand glasses on the architectures are made by skilled craftmen.
More than 2 milion plants decolate architectures that show different faces every season.

This 300 meters-long rope way brings you from Kinugawa Onsen Sanroku station to the Maru Mountain peak in about 4 minutes.
You would overlook Kinugawa Onsen streets and a valley.
From the observation deck, you would see Nasu system of Keicho Mountain in the North, Tsukuba Mountain in front and Tokyo sky tree if the weather is good.
Tens of monkeys play around ‘Monkey Mountain’ on the mountain peak. You would also feed them there.

You can enjoy winds and splashes on the fast stream, which is like a natural roller coaster. Kinugawa Rafting has many varieties.

The 1,000 meters-long high way connects Kinugawa Onsen and Shiobara Onsen.
Enjoy seasonal scenery. You would see outstanding view in the maple season. (In the middle of October to in the end of October)
In the ski area, the ropeway runs to the lily park in summer and leaf-peeping in autumn.

This mountain stream fishing place uses Ojika river, an upper area of Kinugawa river.
We release chars, masu salmon and trouts raised with clear water every time customers come.
You can cook the fish you just caught by grilling with salt, frying and making sashimi on the spot.
You can also enjoy food of mountains like flesh wild vegetables tempra, wasabi soba noodles, today’s special, etc.

Ryuokyo is a famous place of Kinugawa-Kawaji. There is the plenty of sheade there even in summer, which is great to stroll.
Nijimi Falls is named from the beautiful rainbow(Niji) shining in falls.

This begonia garden oqqupies a land area of 13,223㎡, the largest begonia garden in the north of Kanto.
Thanks to the air-conditioning and spersions system, we can enjoy flowers throughout the year in a large and small greenhouse.
The room tempature is maintained between 15℃ and 25℃. It is comfortable in both summer and winter.
You would enjoy 8,000 bowls and 600 kinds of flowers in total such as begonia tubers overhead.
We also have strawberry picking.

This 22,000 m² large garden has about 300 kinds and 30,000 plants along the Ojikawa river.
The park is divided into 8 zones – an aquatic plant pond, a hygrophyte pond, a flower garden of alpine plants, a rock garden and a Japanese garden.
There are skunk cabbages, water lilies, irises, blue poppies, dicentras, erythronium pagoda, hemerocallis esculenta, Japanese primrose, rhododendrons, etc.

Shrine has a lot of Yoshino cherry and chelly blossomes will be illuminated at night.

We plan and implement canoeing, trekking and snowshoes at Kawaji Onsen and Nasu-Shiobara Itamuro Onsen in Tochigi prefecture Nikko City .
